So long and thanks for all the fish.

This post is farewell to Toronto and the great 9 days we spent in and around the city. When you include Niagra in the mix, that time doesn’t seem enough. Totally, thoroughly recommend Toronto to anyone thinking of starting a holiday in Canada. We’re off to Kingston, then to Ottawa for a “Highlight Dinner”; a trip across the lake in a giant canoe, a bit of tribal whoopee and then a special dinner. Hopefully the rain holds off!

To Karen Henderson, I’m really sorry we didn’t get together for a drink or meal; if we weren’t tromping around we were in the hot spa soaking our tired feet, or we were passed out on the bed exhausted. You have a lovely city here 🙂

PS …Mr Right thinks you’ll all understand the title …it’s some literary quote….there are times when he knows more than me! Au Revoir Toronto….Au Revoir pancake pillows…Mrs Always Right XXX

Tell Mr Right I don’t understand the title. I must be illiterate or I should read more. Curious to know how it is relevant to your stay in Toronto. Hope the rain held off for you, because it sounds like a full day. You certainly sound like you are having heaps of fun. I’m sure that will continue. I look forward to your posts each morning when I get up. It is the first thing I do after breakky. Take care on your journey. Love as always.
    Vic.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish (1984, ISBN 0-345-39183-7) is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspatial express route, as described in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The phrase has since been adopted by some science fiction fans as a humorous way to say “goodbye” and a song of the same name was featured in the 2005 film adaptation of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
