It’s actually two layers of sponge with cream in the middle 🙂 We found that out this evening as we tucked into a three course dinner at the Parker House (our hotel); french onion soup, sirloin and then dessert, yum!

We spent the day exploring and learning about Boston, it’s history and … more history. A trip to Harvard was next, and we walked around the campus and learned still more history, love it! Lorraine and I can now say we went to Harvard. The afternoon was ours, so we walked around to Washington St and proceeded to look through the shops. Bought a bottle of Chandon and retired to our room for a drink before dinner. Tomorrow we head off to Philadelphia.
