Well .. a four year old telling a “knock knock” joke 🙂 Ian and Tash went out for dinner tonight, so we got the kids (yay us! no hardship at all <g>). There was a Family Comedy Night on so along we went. Lovely comedian from Caboolture (lots of QLDers on this trip!) told some watered down and family type jokes, then got volunteers up to tell their jokes. Georgia (with me prompting, sort of like a sock puppet) said “knock, knock”, the whole audience went “who’s there?” [stage fright – deer in headlights look – Uncle Wayne whispers “boo”] Georgia bellows out BOO! Audience: boo who? Georgia: awww, don’t cry 🙂 Lots of genuine laughter and cries of “cute!” Audience votes .. every kid (about 6) gets a Gold Medal! It’s being worn now, very proudly 🙂 Great day, now for a nights sleep ready for the morrow.
