A great day on the Isle of Pines started with a few minor/major issues. One of the Tender Boats decided to blow an engine…..no real drama just a slow start to getting everyone on to the Isle……all good after a couple of hours and we were walking on talcum sanded beaches. Prior to that I had a blowout on the right flip flop……got a new pair last night at the shop …so also all good. Isle of Pines was at its best, indigenous people dressed in their native attire, danced and the ladies made us hats and headbands. Georgia was very concerned as to where their teeth were……after a short stroll to the snorkelling bay Pirate Number 20 (Georgia with her tender number sticker 20) saw some attacking pirates and jumped on her pirate ship (Aunty Rain) and set off to the pirate cave …along the way we found diamonds (pumice), emeralds (leaves), gold (coral) and a skull (hollow coconut)…. we seized the treasure then Pirate 20 went to Pirate island (Tash) …..Wayne and I snorkelled for a bit and as Mr Right said in his post we had a relaxing afternoon on Lido deck….. I now hear the tenders in preparation for Lifoe so will be off to get our stickers (wonder what pirate number she will be today!)
Will let you know

Glad you enjoyed Isle of Pines as much as us. We think it was the pick of the islands on the cruise, as far as beauty is concerned. It would be hard to take a week or two there. Hahaha!!!! Sounds like you are keeping Miss G entertained. I’m sure the cruise has been made even more enjoyable with the youngsters. Have fun on Lifou. I think I heard the snorkelling great there. We didn’t get to the oth side of the island. Think that’s where it was happening. We just relaxed on the side where the boats were tendering. Once again…..really enjoying the blog and sharing your cruise…..Thankyou. XXXXXX
Didn’t happen to see Long John Silver by any chance? Or pick up a strange parrot? Really enjoying reading about your trip. Making me decide even quicker that work is an absolute inconvenience in ones life. Hope everyone is getting enough sleep in between all of the things you are doing.
