So our first Sea Day was rather lazy to say the least, sat for most of the morning around the indoor pool and had some quality conversation with Sharon and Byron…we rarely have the time when busy at home so this was great. Himself and I enjoyed numerous  refreshing drinks to “keep us cool” , me, I’m enjoying the Frozen Mojitos with an occasional bubbles. Staying in the Solarium area keeps us away from the temptation of the ice-cream machine and the mountains of food in the Windjammer Buffet, this too is good…..The Solarium has a small but adequate cafe and this suits us, especially as we indulge in the culinary delights of the Romeo and Juliet Dining room each evening. Himself is purposely trying new and different dishes , me I just choose what I think I will like. We have also explored the ship and young Georgia and I helped the ladies to a big lead in the Battle of the Sexes quiz where you yell out the answers to questions and score points for your gender, it is a cumulative score for the cruise. Ladies are well in the lead after Round 2!!!! Formal dining last night and a show of dancing that sent us to bed, not the best entertainment. Today(Tuesday, 2nd Sea Day) we avoided breakfast as we were doing a galley tour followed by a Champagne Brunch in the “Chops Grille” …this was a very interesting, eye opening and entertaining experience and OMG the buffet for our brunch …was devine. I will let himself explain why the photos have not been posted yet! After Brunch we have been having another lazy afternoon (and getting quite used to it) Our room is neat, shower good and hot (but small) Ohh …and just before I close ….it was my amethyst dress ring that split, the band …that is all that needs to be said about that …might just have to buy a new ring in Noumea, as we do have other shopping to do there!
