So we once again admire the familiar skyline of Venice as we cruise past St Marks Square and  other familiar sights to dock and end our second cruise on MSC Sinfonia.. all decks named after composers. We enjoyed her she was relaxing and more like a P&O cruise. Cabin much smaller but great dining and on deck activities were good…just as well seeing we had 2 sea days. Would I recommend MSC…definitely!  Anyhow an orderly and efficient disembark and transfer to Marco Polo Airport…and that’s where the “orderly and efficient” ceased! OMG what a debacle …..we were too early to check in as our flight was later in the day but the queues made us very thankful we were there early. First debarcle ….trying to get VAT (tax) back …I am still too angry about this  to comment ..if you are going to Europe I will have a private conversation with you! Just sayin’ ….So now we can check in …that went so smoothly thanks to Wayne’s QANTAS status and Emirates being a partner. Then the queue through security ..well let’s just say better than earlier in the day, but still atrocious…….THEN!!!!! came the big queue, to get through customs OMG this queue wound around the airport like a snake and I reckon the shop owners would be fuming….not a chance to shop!!..and this is what a girl MUST do when travelling…I had spare Euro!!!!  Anyhow, let’s jump the boring to landed in Dubai at midnight and was asleep in bed by 1:30am.
