Um .. no. Instead, they had a “hairiest chest” contest! Men’s chests that is. Lorraine and Tash snorted, giggled, and drank their way through the contest, their comments getting louder and more pointed with each cocktail – served in a disco ball!- consumed. I retired very early, my eyeballs were hurting. Sitting in a corner far away from gyrating old blokes showing off more fur than bigfoot and reading my book was much more relaxing … the few bundy and cokes I had didn’t hurt either! After (or maybe it was before, my memory is hazy for some strange reason ..) there was Horse Racing. On a ship. In the middle of the sea. Riiiight. Get 6 wooden horses (old fashioned type), con 6 audience members (um .. guess who? see the photos below!) to be “jockeys” and then throw three dice to see which numbered horse moved forward! Bit slow, so time to retire with my book again. Oh, and some more bundy š From there to lunch .. then time with the kids on the deck, dancing, playing, generally having fun (and cocktails … and bundy). On to dinner – great food!- then to the show, a Jazz Night. Fantastic! A few cointreaus finished the night off. Almost in bed, and getting ready for landfall tomorrow – The Isle of Pines! Stay tuned, more adventures to come š
