The Isle of Pines, our first landfall on the cruise. Wow. Early (oh dark hundred) this morning we awoke to see lights off the port bow, land! The ship slid through the passage between the islands on its way to the Isle of Pines. Initially overcast, the day soon brightened up and showed the island off in the best light. A bit of fun getting the tenders going, but by 11am we were on the island. Really pretty place, good snorkelling and lots of fun 🙂 We were back on board by about 3pm, the girls needed their cocktail of the day (something weird looking, weird sounding, and served in another disco ball <g>). We relaxed on the Lido deck for the rest of the afternoon, drinking, nibbling, and watching the kids play. Quite an exhausting day in all, but heaps of fun 🙂 Off out to sea, then loop back in to Lifou tomorrow morning. Heaps of photos, I’ll pop a few up. Herself is in bed already, worn out, poor dear 😉 Actually I won’t be far behind! OK, seems to be an issue with posting photos, I’ll check it out in the morning. Photos now loaded 🙂
