So it’s our last sea day and a very important one at that….Happy Birthday Tash ……..HIMSELF has risen at crack of dawn(pre dawn actually) to secure a “hut” in the 18+ Serenity area …we will hold it till our hot stone massage at 8am when the birthday girl, will take over and  have a relaxing time for her birthday ….the plan is a tag event for the day so we all get a chance to “go into a private little world of our own” …..I am looking  forward to a few hours with the little cruisers having fun on the deck. Last night we had dinner in the dining room and the waiters entertained us “Gangman style” …after that was the Carnival Spirit Big Show…..New Orleans style…..I have to say the sets and costumes were equal to anything I have seen at the Lyric or any  other theatre ….it was SENSATIONAL……colourful, vibrant, energetic and entertaining to say the least. Miss G was captivated even though the poor little thing was tired , it still kept her enthralled. At the end of the show Tash got her off to bed while I scuttled down to the stage to get her some of the “magic” that exploded out of the finale (Metallic streamers)….this will be a gift for her this morning  …seas remain calm and weather remains fine ….I can sense a slight drop in temp as we approach Sydney …. off to another day doing whatever one does on a cruise …..mmmmm? what will that be?
