Early morning…..sailed very close to the islands of New Caledonia through the small hours……enroute to Isle of Pines……..overcast today, but not raining …might rain ….will have to wait and see….Looking forward to snorkelling today……Captain’s “elegant” dinner last night …. then a few hours taking in the on board entertainment:- guitarists, pianists and several bands scattered throughout the ship……a great variety of music types and styles. Seas have been extremely calm , not much rocking or rolling felt at all…..I am impressed with the evening turn down and the skilful folding of the towels..so far a walrus, a polar bear (white towel) may have been a grizzly bear! …and last night an elephant. This morning HIMSELF suggested that our room would be a great sized caravan, yeah right!!!! what are we going to pull it with ? A Mac truck? Now time for breaky and a tender to the isle a little later on …..cheers till next post.

Sounds like you are having a well deserved rest and lots of fun. I am enjoying the blog, and look forward to reading it each morning. I am loving the pictures. The ship looks far more luxurious than the one we were on, but I must say, I still had an awesome time. Hope you both enjoy Isles of Pines as much as we did. It is a little piece of paradise on earth…..a beautiful place. The snorkelling should be great. XXXXXXX
Hello Wayne and Lorraine,
It’s Sarah, the Cheeky Bugger. Looks like you are having a fantastic trip. How is the buffet breakfast every morning Wayne? Do you leave any food for the other passengers?
The entertainment on the ship looks terrific! How are the dancing nights? Dancing mixed with alcohol would be entertaining in itself. Does everybody clear the floor when you get up and dance Wayne?
My Dad says he would never take us kids on a cruise because we would do something stupid and end up falling over board.
Have a great trip and I look forward to stirring you on the bus again soon.
Just read your last few entries – so pleased you are enjoying such a great time, that Georgia was so successful with her stage debut and Oliver looked so “Kosher” in his Palm Beach t-shirt. (Photos are great) The ship’s “insides” look fabulous – so luxurious! – lap it up – and I don’t mean the Spirits!!!!!! All’s well at No 8!
Looking forward to your day at the Isle report.
Enjoy!

Hey Wayne, you should have bought a tug boat instead of the Territory if you want your room to be your next caravan! Have fun
